Goodtime Rumur, a Shadyshark Hanover three-year-old filly, outfinished her rivals on the passing lane to register her first success at Terang on Tuesday night (August 15).
Placed in one of her previous six starts, the filly settled down three deep on the marker pages from her back row draw.
Angled down onto the sprint lane, Goodtime Rumur finished full of running to score by half a neck.
The mile rate for the 1680 metres was 1:59.3 with the last 800 in 58.2.
Bred and owned by Ian and Judi Slater and trained by their daughter, Courtney, Goodtime Rumur is out of a threer-win Beach Towel mare.
From his first crop of 34 foals, Shadyshark Hanover has 19 starters for nine individual winners and a placegetter.
