Smart Shadyshark Hanover three-year-old filly Shady Secret notched her sixth win from only 17 starts when she outclassed a strong field at Ballarat on Thursday night (May 4).

Starting from the pole, the filly pinged straight to the front and set solid sectionals from the outset.

Peeling off a final 800 in 58.3, Shady Secret won as she liked by 4.3 metres.

The mile rate for the 2200 metres was 1:58.4.

The win pushed her stake earnings over the $30,000 mark.

Bred by Glenn Daldy, Shady Secret is out of the 10-win French Chef mare, The Milky Way.
