Former ‘Cups King’ Restrepo was credited with a two-year-old winner when the filly Relentless Me won her first race at Horsham on Friday (May 28).

Placed at four of her previous six starts, Relentless Me was sent straight to the top, was steadied in the middle stages and then pinged hnme in 27.9 and 28.2 to grab the thick end of the prize.

The mile rate was a smart 1:57.7 for 1700 metres.

Bred by Edward O’Brien, Relentless Me is out of the Presidential Ball mare Ballygeana.

Restrepo has now left seven winners from seven starters and 13 foals of racing age.
