Flirtatious Heart, a four-year-old mare by Shadyshark Hanover, and one of his first crop, outstayed her rivals at Bankstown on Friday night (February 9).

It was her third lifetime success and the first this season.

After sitting parked in the early stages, the mare dropped in for the trail at the bell.

Peeled to the outside on straightening, Flirtation Heart quickly pounced on the leaders and careered away to win by 5.9 metres.

The mile rate for the 1740 metres was 2:01.2.

She clocked a blazing 57.5 for the closing 800.

Flirtatious Heart is out of a mare by Ramsey Hanover.

Shadyshark Hanover has achieved a 33 percent strike rate with his initial racing crop.
