Smart ALLAMERICAN INGOT mare The Royal Lady overcame a slow getaway to post her third success at Busselton on Friday night (January 27).

After settling down in fifth position 40 metres behind the leaders, the four-year-old was blocked for racing room until the 500 metre mark.

Tipped to the outside, The Royal Lady gobbled up her rivals in the home straight to win by 1.5 metres.

She is out of Royal Diva, a winning Safely Kept mare.

ALLAMERICAN INGOT has left 18 individual winners to date this season.
